Erickson & Sons proudly led the comprehensive restoration of the National Marian Anderson Museum and Historical Society, located in the Philadelphia rowhome of the legendary contralto. Faced with extensive flooding and severe structural damage, our team executed meticulous preservation efforts—reinforcing foundations, repairing water-damaged walls, and restoring architectural details to match the home’s original craftsmanship. By salvaging and refurbishing historic materials, we maintained the authenticity of this cultural landmark. Today, the museum continues to honor Anderson’s legacy, housing a treasured collection of memorabilia and artifacts that inspire and educate future generations.
