The project required the complete demolition and rebuild of the college’s existing cafeteria, creating an open-concept commercial kitchen and partitioned serving and dining areas. This included the installation of new kitchen equipment, a state-of-the-art lighting system, and glass partitions to accentuate the dining hall’s new modern interiors.
Work also included the removal of an overhead roof structure and the construction of a connecting breezeway between the renovated hall and the adjoining Fox Commons Gallery. This new addition not only opens access to the area, but also provides students with casual lounge seating around a stylish gas fireplace.
